Luanda is a Brazilian-Italian actor based in New York City. She began her career as a fashion model in Brazil during her late teens before taking a break to pursue a degree in Fine Arts. In 2023, she resumed modeling, working between New York and Los Angeles. After performing in theater throughout middle and high school, Luanda stepped away from acting as life took her in other directions. Years later, her passion for acting was reignited, inspiring her to return to the craft and refine her skills through the training program at Lee Strasberg Theater & Film Institute.
She recently made her theater debut in The Crucible and will appear in her first short film, Invulnerable, marking her official screen debut. In 2025, she performed in Tales & Tellers, Miu Miu’s second art installment — a live character performance series based on roles from short films — blending fashion, film, and performance art. In the Fall of 2025, Luanda produced her first off-off-Broadway play, Snowangel, in which she starred as the lead, further establishing her presence in the theater world. In 2026, she took on the lead role in the short film, Four's a Crowd, and is producing and starring in Alan Bowne's Beirut off-off-Broadway, continuing to expand her work across both stage and screen.
Outside of her artistic career, she is actively involved in animal rescue efforts and advocates for animal welfare causes.
