Luanda is a Brazilian-Italian actor based in New York City. She began her career as a fashion model in Brazil during her late teens before taking a break to pursue a degree in Fine Arts. In 2023, she resumed modeling, working between New York and Los Angeles, where she discovered a deep passion for acting. To develop her craft, she enrolled in the training program at the Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute.
She recently made her theater debut in The Crucible and will appear in her first feature film, Somewhere Between Us, marking her official screen debut. In 2025, she performed in Tales & Tellers, Miu Miu’s second art installment — a live character performance series based on roles from short films — blending fashion, film, and performance art. Luanda is currently producing her first play, Snowangel, in which she will star as the lead, further establishing her presence in the theater world.
Outside of her artistic career, she is actively involved in animal rescue efforts and advocates for animal welfare causes.
